Mon, 26 January 2009 In the tenth episode of POPshock we discuss the recently announced nominees for this year's Academy Awards, Kate Winslet's admiration of the Jewish community, and Luke throws up in his own mouth a tiny bit. Brodcasting doesn't get much better than this, surely. http://popshock.libsyn.com Comments[2] |
Sat, 17 January 2009 The crew is back after a 2 year hiatus (we've been fighting many drug trafficking and money laundering charges - of course, we're innocent). In the show we discuss where we've been, the potential nominees for the 2009 Oscars, and Slumdog Millionaire. Comments[0] |

Sun, 25 February 2007 You might have to wait a day or two for it, though. The reason? I normally edit the shows. I recently updated my PC to Vista. Here’s a simple equation to illustrate the problem…
Vista + 99% of PC Hardware = A shit storm.
My sound card has since been rendered obsolete by this wonderful new operating system, and I was forced to order a new one. Once this new card totally owns my letterbox, and it creeps its sly little way right into some random hole within my PC (has the ruddy dirty thing no self respect?!), I shall be editing up this muthafucka of an episode 8 and putting it online so you can all drench your ears in the aural ecstacy we project. Mon, 5 February 2007 In this episode we re-instate some structure to proceedings with the
return of SECTIONS (OMFGWTF?!!1) Yeah, sections. Organized chaos, so it
is. You'll be lucky to find a single pearl of wisdom in this car crash,
however, the return of sections also sees the return of TRAILER TRASH
in which we take a look at trailers for THE GOOD SHEPHERD and HOT FUZZ.
We've also got a whole feature on those Hollywood fellas who are, and
should be making comebacks to the scene. And, Louis and I (Lou) having
just turned 20 recently, so we're reflecting on life and how it doesn't
seem to be going anywhere. http://www.popshock.org Comments[3] |
Tue, 30 January 2007 It's the last of our raw, unedited podcasts (that means it's the last lazy podcast) before we go back to the structure of the golden days! *Everyone cheers and pees a little bit* In this edition of the show we discuss the Celebrity Big Brother racism issue, and how retarded it is/was, we also discuss movie's Carl Weathers and whether or not he's Lando from Star Wars, and finally we discuss a team of government Asians. Sat, 30 December 2006 We're back. And this week on this special edition of POPshock we've abandoned our usual need for structure and gone completely RAW... You'll see! We take a look back at the year: its BEST and WORST films, and its BEST albums. We also uncover the true origins of BOXING DAY, and discuss Tom Hanks' plans to sing all your favourite Radiohead classics. And remember: if you don't listen to our show you'll make the baby jesus cry... At Christmas time! Why would you do that? Comments[0] |
Sun, 17 September 2006 Reviews of PULSE, and RIGHT AT YOUR DOOR. In Trailer Trash we look at SCHOOL FOR SCOUNDRELS and STRANGER THAN FICTION. This week we're without our sick friend, and co-host, Louis, so we phone his disease-riddled ass for an update on his condition. Plus, for the first time, POPshock brings you the pop culture news you NEED to hear! Comments[2] |
Sat, 9 September 2006 Reviews of HARSH TIMES, and A SCANNER DARKLY. In Trailer Trash we look at CHILDREN OF MEN and DEJA VU. And in two features we read and respond to listeners comments, as well as give you tips on how to waste time (which, in itself, proves to be a waste of time!) Comments[0] |
